Mastermind behind 9/11, Sheik Mohammed, said that al-Qaeda's strategy to destroy America was to use America's lax immigration laws to infiltrate our legal and welfare systems.
Sheikh Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was a member of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda organization, leading al-Qaeda's propaganda operations from around 1999 until late 2001.
Though many of al-Qaeda's members have joined ISIS, al-Qaeda is still alive and well and pursuing its goals in many regions of the world. The U.S., under the Obama administration supported the "opposition" group, Jabhat al-Nusra in Syria.
Jabhat al-Nusra is al-Qaeda in Syria.
Al-Qaeda is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and shares identical goals. CAIR is a Muslim Brotherhood groups and is very active in every state in America, using our legal system to promote Islam.
"wrap themselves in America's rights and laws for protection ... rise up and violently impose Sharia from within."
Al-Qaeda is a militant Sunni Islamist multi-national organization founded in 1988 by Osama bin Laden, Abdullah Azzam, and several other Arab volunteers who fought against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in the 1980s. It operates as a network made up of Islamic extremist, Salafist jihadists.
All three of al-Qaeda's leaders, Osama bin Laden, Saif al-Adel and Ayman al-Zawahiri were members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Osama bin Laden was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Arabian Peninsula before he was evicted from Saudi Arabia in the 1980s. He was expelled because of his insistence on fighting alongside the mujahidin in Afghanistan while the Brotherhood allowed him to bring aid to Pakistan
Ayman al-Zawahiri is the current leader of al-Qaeda and a current or former member and senior official of Islamist organizations which have orchestrated and carried out attacks in North America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. In 2012, he called on Muslims to kidnap Western tourists in Muslim countries.
Zawahiri would know all about the Muslim Brotherhood as he came out of Egypt and joined the Muslim Brotherhood as a teenager. He provided much of the real blueprint for Al-Qaeda based on the ideas of the Muslim Brotherhood.
al Qaeda’s propaganda arm, released a new message from Ayman al Zawahiri yesterday. Zawahiri’s speech is apparently the first of a series titled, “Brief Messages to a Victorious Ummah [worldwide community of Muslims].” In the inaugural episode, Zawahiri asks: “Who Will Defend the Koran?”
Osama bin Laden’s successor offers a blistering critique of Islamists who compromise with rulers. Zawahiri even compares members of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt to chickens, according to a translation obtained by The Long War Journal. He likens the Brotherhood to a “poultry farm,” which raises “chickens” to be pleased “with what they are given,”
Abdullah Yusuf Azam a.k.a. Father of Global Jihad was a Palestinian Sunni Islamic scholar and theologian and founding member of al-Qaeda. Azzam preached both defensive and offensive jihad by Muslims to help the Afghan mujahideen against the Soviet invaders. He raised funds, recruited and organised the international Islamic volunteer effort of Afghan Arabs through the 1980s, and emphasised the political aspects of Islam.
