Study Finds Positive Correlation Between Covid-19 Deaths and Higher Mask Usage
Countries with high levels of mask compliance did not perform better than those with low mask usage. In fact, the data and analysis discovered a “moderate positive correlation between mask usage and deaths.”

New findings reported in a study challenges what has been the prevailing belief that mask mandates are necessary to slow the spread of coronavirus. The study used data from the CDC covering multiple seasons and showed that mask use is not associated with lower SARS-CoV-2 spread.
The study also found risks that accompany mask wearing:
* Prolonged mask use (>4 hours per day) promotes facial alkalinization and encourages dehydration, which enhances barrier breakdown and bacterial infection risk.
* Masks increase headaches and sweating and decrease cognitive precision.
* By obscuring nonverbal communication, masks interfere with social learning in children.
* Masks can distort verbal speech and remove visual cues to the detriment of individuals with hearing loss.
* Clear face-shields improve correspond to loss of sound quality.

Mask mandates began early in the pandemic in 2020 and remained until at least the summer of 2021, with some extending into 2022. When comparing the weekly rate of Covid cases in states/countries with mask mandates compared to states without mandates, the data showed masks didn’t control the virus.
Mask mandates made zero difference.
Additionally, data from Germany with Sweden was compared. Sweden refused to lock down or impose mask mandates. Germany of the other hand had a strict mask mandate program and a very high percentage of mask wearing.
Sweden’s initial Covid surge was blamed on lax policies, but Sweden stuck to them and discouraged masks. Fewer than 10% of Swedes wore masks.
In contrast, 80% of Germans wore masks. Looking at the daily Covid death toll in both countries from the summer of 2020 through March of 2022 shows masks make no difference.

Microplastics used to make masks were found in 11 of 13 patients undergoing lung surgery. Data demonstrated how these particles may cross into the bloodstream and enter organs, the brain and developing babies.
Chemicals found in plastic products are known to act as endocrine disruptors. These chemicals are similar to sex hormones and they interfere with the normal functioning of those hormones in your body.

Face masks are filled with disease-causing bacteria and fungi.
Researchers collected bacteria and fungi from the three types of masks: gauze, polyurethane (plastic), and non-woven. They discovered bacteria tended to fester inside the masks where they are closest to the face while the outside of the masks tended to harbor more fungi.
The longer a mask is worn, the researchers further discovered, the more that bacteria and fungi multiply.
No matter what type of mask is used, bacteria and fungi love it.
The worst offenders were the plastic and gauze masks, which were found to contain far more fungal colony counts than the non-woven mask type. Washable and reusable masks were no better, the researchers discovered.
Regardless of which type of mask a person uses, what he or she does every day, the duration and mode of travel to and from work and other places, the risk of being exposed to dangerous pathogens is the same.

The best available clinical evidence has mostly failed to show mask efficacy. Fourteen of sixteen randomized controlled trials that compared face masks to no mask controls failed to find a significant benefit of mask wearing.
Moreover, evidence suggests face masks are harmful.
Masking may accelerate rather than reduce transmission of infectious disease. Although some evidence suggests masks may also cause non-infection-related harms, the most concerning potential harm to health is an increased rate of disease spread.
Clinical evidence shows masks fail to reduce the spread of respiratory illness.
Conclusion: The study reviewed the mechanistic, observational, and clinical evidence relevant to the spread of respiratory infections, and in particular the novel SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. In each area, they could not demonstrate a clear benefit from mask wearing.

Research study titled: Effectiveness of N95 respirators versus surgical masks against influenza: A systematic review and meta-analysis. Youlin Long et al.
This study was a review of the medical literature regarding effectiveness of wearing surgical masks and N95.
Conclusion: The use of N95 respirators compared with surgical masks is not associated with a lower risk of laboratory-confirmed influenza. It suggests that N95 respirators should not be recommended for general public.
